Robert Grieb is the founder of The Diversified Services Group, Inc. (DSG). He is a nationally recognized authority on the delivery of investment and insurance products through financial institutions and the development of "bank" sales cultures, topics on which he writes and speaks frequently. He brings clients over 25 years of diverse financial services management experience including executive positions in large and small insurance companies and agencies, securities firms, a super-regional bank, a multi-state thrift, a registered investment company, and the consulting business.

Prior to forming DSG in 1989, Mr. Grieb was Senior Vice President of Atlantic Financial, where he developed consumer insurance, annuity, and securities programs that generated over $1 million in profits for every $1 billion in deposits. He also has international financial services consulting experience with SAI Group and has held executive positions at The Philadelphia National Bank and Colonial Penn Group.

Recent consulting engagements have included sales (management) development; evaluation and enhancement of overall institutional sales cultures; insurance agency and broker dealer valuations, acquisitions and partner searches; insurance and securities program enhancement and integration; and the development and implementation of strategies for the (post) Retirement Income/Asset Management Market. In addition, he developed and manages the numerous Sales Management Best Practices Workshops.

Mr. Grieb holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Lafayette College and a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School. He was a Founding Director and past President of the Bank Securities Association and is currently a Managing Director of the Bank Insurance & Securities Association. He serves on the boards of The Philanthropic Mutual Life and Fire Insurance Companies, National Safety Life Insurance Company, and the Women’s Association for Women’s Alternatives.
